Ok guys,I take my teas on Saturday. This is the second time I have taken it since June. I applied to fresnos program and got accepted!! But I must pass the teas with at least a 62%. When I took it in June (applying at the time for a different program) and got a 60%. What really sucked was there minimum passing score was also a 62%. Very frustrating!!
Anyhow, I have been studying to retake it for about a month. I have had a tutor. I have the ati book, and practice test, as well as the McGraw Hill 5 teas practice test book. I have taken both of the online practice test and have done horribly :-( I got a 56%and then a 60%. I'm bummed because I have been studying my ass off, and am scoring similar to that from before, and I know that I know more and can and should do better. When I do the test in the McGraw book, I average higher, at around 70-76%.
Is it just me or are these practice test made to be that much harder then the real test? What do you guys think? I need some words of encouragement, I'm stressing REALLY bad, and my test is Saturday. Thanks guys!

I used the McGraw book in order to study for the TEAS, my scores were similar to that of the practice tests. What I did was look at the concepts I was getting wrong and studied them so I learned how to do them. For example, fractions are not my friends. I Google searched how to multiply, add, subtract and divide fractions. That helped tremendously. You should be fine. Just continue the next couple of days to see what you are scoring the lowest in and concentrate on improving that. Don't stress too much, the TEAS is scary when you take it but then you forget all about it soon enough.
Thanks, I'm just so overstressed. There is such a huge burden on my shoulders. I must pass with at least a 62% :-(
I was super stressed too about the Teas. Just take a deep breath and relax. Don't second guess your answers. Take your time. I really think if your getting in the 70's in the McGraw book, you should be able to pass with at least a 62 with no problem. Just go over your problems area today and relax tomorrow before the test.

I had similar experience with having higher scores on the McGraw practice tests than on the ATI tests. As for stressing out, just try not to get all wrapped up in possible scores. Just focus on the questions and answer with what makes the most logical sense. I usually do far better on tests when I take the "screw it, my score is what it is" approach. If all you need is a 62% for the program you are going for, you should be fine.

Focus your time on the sections you are scoring low on. The online tests should break it down for you. Don't waist your time studing the areas you are strong in.
