Scissors and Holster

Has anyone tried these shears?

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002WJHE7E/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_1?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B002WJHEHY&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0E93VVH733GTHNX81701

I'm looking to pick up a couple pairs of good shears before I head to a more... trauma intensive environment. I'm looking for something reasonably priced yet effective. Something that I won't cry over if I lose but have still been proven to work.

I'm also in the market for a holster...something similar to this

http://www.pcscrubs.com/CAMC-Medical-Equipment/Prestige-Medical-Prestige-Padded-Nylon-Holster-Set.asp

All I want to hold is shears, kellys, pen, light...maybe a knife.

any suggestions would be appreciated

Thanks in advance.

ripoffs holsters makes several holsters that you might find useful.

the ripoffs co - 145 has two pockets with velcro straps, and a large open area that will accommodate a set of trauma shears.

Thanks Chare...the holsters do look pretty nice. May give those a shot.

Any other suggestions people?

My sun loves those fluoride coated scissors, he gets his from scrub couture, they have a adc "responder" kit, that i got him for christmas too, but it didn't come with the flouride coated scissors.

I have these scissors and they are excellent! They work so well and I have had mine for 6 years now and still work like brand new!

Nice! Thanks folks...now to find a dealer in Canada...

What unit would a nurse use bandage scissors or trauma shears most?

I'm looking for them for the trauma bay/emerg

I have those shears and I LOVE THEM! They are quite large though so I usually leave them in my bag and opt for a smaller pair. I need to use them more because they are great. I have a pocket holster as well but I never used it. It weighed down one pocket so much that it looked strange. These holsters look more like something I would use.
