Does anyone know of any schools in Illinois that actually have openings?????????
My local schools are so crowded. There will be 40 openings per year but they have over 500 applicants for those positions. I know grades count but theres such a shortage of instructors.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

Lakeview College of Nursing at EIU ALWAYS has openings and they are not strict about when you apply. So long as you apply before the first day of class. It is in Charleston, but main branch is in Danville. I wish I still lived that way. Great program.

I am not sure if you checked out Lewis University. It is located in Romeoville. They never have a wait list and accept lots of people. I got in to the program my first attempt. The only thing is, it is a 4-year University, so they will have more general education requirements than a 2-year program would have.

Hope that helps and best of luck to you!
