I am currently in my second year fo ADN program. I didn't work the first semester and did fine , 3.7 GPA and Dean's list, but i was dirt poor, now I am working as an LPN in the State mental hospital, 40hours a week too. My major concern is scheduling conflicts and getting them worked out with my employer, just finding the time to work 40 and do school fulltime too. i am fulltime employment and i need to be I must keep insurance on the family, i believe where there is a will there is a way, it is just frustrating trying to make money and school at the same time, there are no parttime or PRN positions in this facility, and I would like to stay there and work as an RN when i finish in May 2007. any good advice?:uhoh3:

I'm not sure this would work but what about going to school part time and taking longer to finish. I'm sure not your first chioce and may not be possible with your school. Just a thought. Otherwise great time management, online courses if possible, more weekend hours. Good luck I'm thinking I will have an issue with this in Jan. Jeni

I work as a Pharm cooridnator LTC 40+hours a week. For the past 2 years working on GEC's part time. When I finish my ADN it will be part time Nursing classes. I also do a lot of hybrid and online courses. They are extremely helpful. Takes longer, but if theres a will theres a way
