Scholarships

Hey everyone,

I've started this thread for people who are looking for scholarships for Nursing school. I hope people will leave websites where they have applied/seen scholarships that nursing students qualify for. If you post a website to make things easier please right who qualifies for the scholarship (LPN,RN,BSN, etc.)

Thanks everyone! and I hope everyone looking for a scholarship finds this thread useful!

If you are a Phi Theta Kappa Member, which is an honor society from 2 year Community Colleges, they offer scholarships as well. I have been offered a $500 per semester (1000/yr) scholarship at the University I just transferred to, because of my membership. This certainly paid for my $75 membership fee!

And, if your GPA is good, Universities often have 'in house' scholarships. I have been awarded another $1000 per semester scholarship because of my transfer GPA. I just have to keep it above a 3.5 to have the award renew each semester.

I am not a minority, nor do I fall into low income which I find the majority of the scholarships require; academic scholarships seemed to be the best way for me for get assistance.

Here is a great page our NS linked to, listing a bunch of nursing scholarships:
