As a new grad, I make 22.00 an hour for days with a 2.00 shift differential after 1pm. This is just slightly less than hospital med-surg nurses.

Hi Kathykaye. I have been offered by fresenius medical care $24/hr in Illinois.

should be over 21.00 as a new hire and it goes up. there are per diem positions in rochester that pay 500.00 a day...so get the experience.

Not Illinois, Pacific northwest, $24, small shift diff for swing and weekends

Renal dialysis nurse starting pay here is 23.00 with a 2.90 differential pay. without experience....just got the facts....

Hospital pay on a noncritical floor is 24.00 with one year experience with a .80 differential pay....

In the Western New York Area

Still a 500.00/12 hr. per diem pay in Western New York for dialysis work.:nurse:

:banghead: good lord, y'all are starting out close to the same rate i am getting after 7+ years of hemo!!!!!!!! Good for you!!! maybe i should quit my current company(davita), and do a little job hunting....while i love my job, getting up @ 3:30AM, putting up with grouchy techs, hostile pts, temperamental machines, hey-y'know what i am talking about....24.90 an hour sounds pretty pathetic right now. At some point, we all are working for a pay check, thanks for the info---i am up for my review in a couple of weeks...never had a poor one, so i am going to name a number this time!!! I'll keep ya posted , TDN

In Tucson AZ as an Acute Dialysis RN $140.00 ++per treatment. On Call $$$$$ :yeah: average tx 3.5 hr - 4 hr with a average 5-6 hr period to perform the treatment.

In New Jesey per-diem dialysis nurses make a minimum of $40.00/hr and often $50.00/hr. I cannot believe the low salaries posted on this site. Nurses need to stand up for wage increases. Everyone is always sympathizing with teacher wages. What about nurses?

LOL! I am getting ready to take a position as a laundry attendant in a nursing home($6.50 hrly) while I go to school to get my LPN. After that, I will work as a LPN while I go to Nursing School to become an RN.(maybe $10.00 hrly for LPN). Those pay rates will sure be much better :lol2: I just have to keep my eyes on the prize, and remember that I am working towards something I really want. Thats what Im gonna tell myself when Im doing laundry....*I wont be doing this forever* :caduceus:

i think i am in the wrong ffield, i feel lucky to get 30- 35 for a travel nurse in the or. am i nuts oor wwhat?

$16.- $20./hr for dialysis RNs in my area, but there are no jobs, so I'm a traveler.
