Has any one ever felt unsafe on occasion out in the field?m especially with things getting done on a tablet these does have you ever felt that you were going to get mugged for your supplies/tablet??

Most of the area I will be working in are fine but there are some shady neighborhoods

I've worked and currently work in unsafe areas. In those areas, word gets out quick once you visit regularly. You most likely won't be bothered once word gets out. I always am aware of my surroundings and get a feel for things each day I'm in that environment. But I've had pts actually request me for another day if they know something is about to happen in their neighborhood that could risk my safety.

In the past I have had the occasion to feel very uneasy in some areas. I am pretty sure I walked in on a drug deal once, saw a patient in a home that had one room empty of furniture but full of new tires and hubcaps. I once saw a person in a home that I suspected no one lived in and she was squatting there.
