Can anyone tell me the percentage of oxygen in room air?

Of course, that's a theoretical number.

All depends on the room... number of people in it, whether fresh air is circulated / exchanged frequently, etc.

A nurse at our hospital (he's in his early 30s and healthy) could only achieve a 98% pulse ox reading until he stepped outside for several minutes and breathed deeply. Then he hit 100%.

Lot of stale rooms out there.
