ROFLMBO $400,000!

Well, I think I could live on that amount per year! Could the average nurse make it? Do ya think?

Uh, relating it to nursing:

I need treatment for my HTN and my nausea because I am just :angryfire:angryfire:angryfire to hear that company executives are expected to limit their salaries to that piddling amount.

yes, I just heard the same thing on tv, makes me want to puke... and that was a limit to their bonus's was my understanding, not just their salary.

Geee...that might be tough for me:rolleyes:

I also know for a fact that hospitals are putting an end to employeing people who have no role other than to wear a title.

UPMC went on a death march near the end of '08. Went around the hospital, unanounced, and took note of who had a function/role to the hospital and who didnt. Those they decided did not play a major role in the functioning of the hospital, were let go. And later on, when they decided to start shutting down the Southside branch and move all the employees to the newly bought out Mercy hospital across the river...........very few administrative people were invited to go to the new facility. Most received a note saying something to the effect of "If you would like to be employeed by UPMC again, please apply to the facility that interests you."

But yeah, it is odd to see people making so much when they are so .........cough/gag........vital to the operations of the facility. Most people would not even know if they stopped showing up for work.

Let's not forget Madman Madoff. Mongrel Madoff? Which do you like best? Have your own title for him?

Psych nurses, is this megalomania? Borderline personality disorder? Other?

Horrifying and makes me angry that SEC was warned a dozen times or so over the course of the past decade and did investigate him twice but found no irregularities. What??? How could this be?

What's that about not putting all of one's eggs in the same basket. Or the same womb, apparently, as you could get octuplets and wind up with an unemployed welfare mom who now has 14 children!:eek: If I have to support them, I'd love to have one of the little babies.

Dream on, Vito. think of your idyllic boyhood in Sicily before that terrible day when they took your father.

Wouldn't it be comforting to know that the Nurse taking care of you is worth less than the idiot who just laid you off and got a nice bonus for doing it???

ONLY 400 grand a year, my God how will they live??

It must be so hard for them, my heart is bleeding........:icon_roll
