RN-Nclex

Hey guys......just sent in my RN Nclex application..I have a expunged felony theft charge from 1992..had no issues obtaining my LPN License but still nervous about waiting to get my ATT for my RN. I know they review everything on a case by case basis and since I am already an LPN (since 2008) I sure hope they do NOT deny me an opportunity to sit for the RN boards. Just asking for encouragement and prayers for good outcome.

I cannot imagine the state would deny you after already giving you your LPN license. Try not to worry! I know that is easier said than done, right? Let us know how it goes, and best of luck to you on your test.

You have been an LVN for 7 years. I think it's as good as done. You had your conviction expunged. It was a one time event and more than 10 years ago.

I know someone who had an old drug conviction and she was given a license free and clear with no restrictions.

I am sending you good thoughts! I don't think you will need it. You have been rehabilitated. AB Bonta 2396 states that the board can't deny you based on an expunged conviction.

Good luck!

I am very happy to hear that! Congratulations! You will nail it! You got this!

...and a big oops about using California law. I realize you aren't from California. Got my posts crossed.
