RN Burnout

Hi friends-

I am a critical care nurse I have practiced in Georgia and now in Washington state. I am not finding my work as enjoyable anymore. I am growing tired of the patient population that I am serving ie.. drug overdoses, alcoholics, the occasional critically ill pt. I am beginning to not like the RN that I am becoming. What do you do when you get tired of working in the ICU? I have only ever worked ICU so I have no idea what else is out there.

Thanks for the feedback, it will be much appreciated.
