Grand Canyon (GCU) I think was around $17000 and that included the E-Books. It does have 2 Discussion Questions (DQs) due each week (Wed & Fri) For the most part they are very straight forward....I was not a big fan of them, as many students rally did not add much to the discussion....just did the "ya ur are so great...great point? and just state what the originator already stated. As well at least 1 paper was due at the end of the week (Sunday), and sometimes one had multiple papers, but for the most part only one. Word length was anywhere from 500 words to 2000, I would say on average 1200-1500 words. As well most of the nursing classes there is a group project! Get a good group, they can be very easy to do, but there always seems to be 1 slacker which can cause some issues, lol If your a good writer, one can do very well. I don't work, so so I'm not a good example, but I usually wrote completed both DQs 1 day, and wrote my paper in 1 day, which was usually Sunday, like that last minute pressure!! And of course you have to reply to other students DQs, 2 dqs a day for at least 3 days of that week! Not hard to do. It is a good program, the online classroom is excellent, easy to follow and the library and librarians are a superb resource.

What are you looking for? If you are looking for affordability, there's Fort Hays State University ($186 per credit) and Eastern New Mexico University ($203 per credit).
If you want a self-paced program with no group work or discussion posts, there's Western Governors University ($3250 flat rate per six month term).
If you want to submit weekly papers and discussion posts while paying in the $15,000 to $20,000 range for the degree, there's Grand Canyon University, Chamberlain University, and University of Phoenix.
