Can anyone tell me the costs of online nursing degrees? I was looking into University of Phoenix today and total for the degree is $63,000. Are there any cheaper options?

There are plenty of cheaper options. Many state university systems now have online RN-BSN degrees. Try looking at your own state's program first, in-state is always the best bargain. If that doesn't work for you look at other states. Stay away from for-profit rip-off "schools" like University of Phoenix.

Wow, I paid around $20,000 for my on-line RN-BSN, and thought I paid too much. I would never even consider paying that much

Hi!
I'd love to hear from others on the cost also. It seems sooo expensive. I have been looking at BCIT online and thought it was expensive but looking around, I guess it's average.
Does anyone have any experience with the BCIT Program??

Kent State University's RN to BSN is $421(If I remember correctly) a credit hour with a minimum of 33 credit hour from KSU to receive a KSU degree. This is if your previous educational credits transfer and such.

I start my RN-BSN program of U of Phoenix on 10/3 and my total tuition, including online books will be almost 20K. The 68K they quote on their website is for an entire BSN degree, start to finish (including Gen Ed courses). According to my enrollment advisor, they need to update their website to reflect the true cost of an RN-BSN degree for those of us who are transferring in all of our ASN/ADN credits. I have been extremely impressed with UoP so far and have only read excellent feedback about their program so don't overlook them when considering which school is right for you.
