RF and Rush 2015 Application Cycle

I assume you mean Rosalind Franklin by RF? I interviewed at Rosalind Franklin last week and received an invitation to interview at Rush this week for September dates.

I don't know anyone in the program or anyone else who is applying, so I'm not sure how they do things generally. You could always just call and ask! I'm sure they'd be helpful. Did you interview at Rosalind Franklin?

I did a few days back and received a rather curt response essentially saying that the application was forwarded for faculty review. I met someone who had been declined an interview so I assume since I haven't heard anything they just haven't gotten to mine yet. Did you just apply in Chicago?

That would make sense. I also applied to TCU and LSU. Haven't heard from LSU yet but their deadline isn't til September 1st. You?

Just Chicago based schools because I have a little one so I am really hoping to get in. Have you looked into any anesthesia textbooks? I was hoping to do a little reading over the next year.

I interviewed at RF too and am waiting to hear back. I received an interview earlier this month to Rush scheduled for mid september. They offered it to me just a few days after I submitted my application so they might still be sending out invites. Good luck all!

I read Watchful Care but that's probably the extent of what I'll read. Current students generally recommend to just enjoy your freedom a bit longer! Haha. Once it gets closer I'll probably get too excited and end up reading random stuff
