Rush University CRNA Interview
Funny thing that this was one of my reasons to decline my Rush interview after getting my acceptance at RF. I figured competition with the anethesia residents would be a problem. Also, all training is held within the Rush system so I felt that I might be limited on my clinical exposure, especially with Illinois being a physician preferred/Opt-In state. Because of this, I felt CRNA training at a place like this would still have a small touch of training you to "stay in a box" under physician direction. The last thing for me was that the program is 4 months longer which I look at as a potential loss of $40-50k in wages after graduation. The biggest trade-off for RF is the 1.5 hour round trip commute from the city every day for most of the 3 years but I figure that's in itself is a small sacrifice for the diverse clinical opportunities alone. In the end, Rush is prestigious name to receive your training and I think either school is a solid choice in the end because you'll still earn CRNA at end of your name :). Good luck to all with your decisions and GO RF Team 19!

Rosalind Franklin 2016 Start
Congrats to all that got in. I woke up to my acceptance yesterday but had to get ready for work and have been busy all night! I too am having problems with the acceptance link in the email but I'll probably just call them once I get off work. Otherwise, I'm highly considering cancelling my interview at Rush and just enjoying the city with my GF since we're coming from out of town haha. Decisions decision For those who didn't get in, dont give up! I got rejected after an interview in California earlier this year and was pretty bummed out for a few months. The applications and LOR collecting are tedious but keep applying and you'll get in! Dont weed yourself out by giving up!

Rosalind Franklin 2016 Start
A few of us on the other forum are waiting right there with you. Nothing yet except one person saying they got a conditional acceptance the Monday after we finished interviews. Not to sound too envious or skeptic but they said it was contingent on them finishing their BSN and CCRN which I find odd since the latter isn't even required. We haven't heard from them since regarding how they found out (email, phone, other?). Big props if they did get in, however, the other 6 of us haven't heard anything and I can't imagine all of us striking out when the acceptance odds are 50/50 .

RF and Rush 2015 Application Cycle
Nothing yet here. I wasn't even thinking about it until the individual from the other forum said they got a provisional acceptance last Monday. Made me start wondering whats really going on and now I've been anxious since then. Odd considering the rest of us still haven't heard back. Hoping we hear back this week!

RF and Rush 2015 Application Cycle
I interviewed at RF too and am waiting to hear back. I received an interview earlier this month to Rush scheduled for mid september. They offered it to me just a few days after I submitted my application so they might still be sending out invites. Good luck all!
