I recently re-took the PSB-RN science portion. Since I retook it two days ago, I've felt terrible. Granted I studied some for the re-test, mainly chemistry and physics which is what I had trouble with, and I believe I got most of those right. However, I started looking up answers to other questions, or just thinking about them, and realize I missed some easy ones. Now, granted, the first time I only failed it by 5 points (needed a 75, I got a 70). I have to wait for two weeks to find out my score. If it's not higher, I've just lost my chance for the fall class. However, if I bring my score up by just 5 points, the admissions counsellor talks like I'll get a seat. Meanwhile, I'm on edge....

I got a better score the 2nd time I took the PSB. What number of points did you get? The highest possible is 500. The first time I took the test I got a 353. The second time I took it I got 450. You most likely did get a higher score on your second try. You knew more of what to expect. Good luck!

NOEL my fingers are crossed for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The first time I got a 364. Since I had 97 or better in three areas I was only taking science over. The school requires subject area scores of 75 or better and an overall of 320 or better.
Thanks Andy. My mother's been telling me not to worry about it too much since I've at least got a seat at St. Margaret's in the winter. I'm calming down a bit about it. Still, it would be nice to be Shadyside class of '08!
I just got a call from the admissions rep.....
