Retaking the NCLEX for the 4th time

I graduated from nursing school in May 2004, and I failed boards three times. I am getting ready to retake them for the first time in 5 years within the next 2 months and I am signing up for the Hurst Review. Does anyone have any advice or tips for me?

I am currently doing Hurst now... I think they are really good with the material delivery... if you want you can also add some other resouces to it. like La charity, saunders..etc I did. and I will be taking Nclex for the first time next week God's willing Above all PRAYER IS THE KEY.

Goodluck mate hope it willbe your last. Take.

Same story I failed 3 times too and just got my test last Sat. Still don't know my results but I don't feel good when I went out of the testing center. I knew that my last question was wrong so I think I failed again.

Your last question will not be a bases for pass/fail. You can fail also by having correct answer on your last question. I'm not giving you any false hope but I strong feel you ve done. It. How many items before the pc shut down?

I did 75 questions. I wanted to be positive too but its hard. I'm emotionally unstable now. I gave my all to everything: I work full time (40 hrs/wk), a toddler to attend to and studying after everything. I know its hard but I managed to do this in order to pay bills. I cannot afford to pay another retake or take online review anymore. (sorry am just venting)

Look mate here's my equation you only need 60 q to answer. Coz 15 of those are not counted Qs ,so that means out of 60 you will need more right than wrong. At least I think 15-20 wrong answer. I maybe wrong on this but on the review I have watch this is what I understand. So last question wrong is not bases who knows it might be a pilot Qs .i know how you feel , like you I have 2 toddler. Also work as full time RN here in England. Be strong. Have faith on himJoe

Thanks Joe for the good words. I will just keep praying and whatever happens I will not lose hope. I will keep taking it 'til I get it. Good luck to us! :D

I need to wait another day for the quick results. I will be checking it out tomorrow. Pass or fail I will update you. Good luck to you too!

Praying that we all pass the NCLEX!!! I took mine today. I used ncsbn. I got the good pop up. Two more days until quick results... will keep you all posted.

I am a fairly new member here but I passed NCLEX with 75 questions. I can help you with some tips and materials. You can send me private message.

I did hurst review but I got another review by judy miller which are very expensive videos. I combined them to make my own notes. I hated Kaplan and ncsbn.

I am a practicing tele/ortho RN.

hope this helps.
