Retaking NCLEX advice

Published

I will be taking my NCLEX for the second time in a few weeks. I've been doing about 100 questions per day and reading content as well. I'm using the NCSBN review, PDA, and using Kaplans strategies. Does anybody else have any other advice? I'm starting to get nervous and uptight about the test because I feel the pressure that I have to pass this time around. I really just need some reassurance and positive energy from somebody to get through this!

Do Kaplan qbank questions :) and just have confidence!

Hi I'm from longview as well and I wished I would've found u sooner maybe we could've studied together but I test Wednesday hopefully I pass I wish u the best I like Kaplan out of everything I've looked at also the Saunders comprehensive pn book

I'm starting uworld today and so far I think it's the closest thing to the NCLEX. This program has kinda put me at ease.

I did Kaplan and Saunders my first time and I failed. Had 265 questions and got Near Passing Standard on all categories. I've been doing Uworld the past 3 weeks and I think it is the closest to Nclex also. I test tomorrow so we shall see...Good Luck to YOU!!!

I passed in 75qs using uworld!

Congrats. How did the UWorld questions compare to the NCLEX?

Congratulations!!

Congrats on a job well done.

HI!! Im also retaking m NCLEX (failed the first time) and I just got the newest edition of the Saunders book! But I heard Kaplan was better...... what is UWORLD???? PLEASE HELP :(

I have been so nervous and my anxiety is at an all time high, please let me know how you studied, what UWorld is, and any other resources you may have!

Thank you so much in advance!

Uworld is all questions. It has over 1500 questions in its bank. It is very close to look of the NCLEX. The rationales are by far the best out there. They give you background info and then explain why each answer is wrong. I feel like UWorld was what helped me pass. The questions were worded just NCLEX and I felt comfortable answering questions. All of the questions are written at the level of NCLEX so it really prepares you on how to tackle NCLEX questions. They offer a free trial and have a Facebook page called NCLEX UWorld. Try it for yourself and I promise you won't be disappointed.

I took NCLeX yesterday. I got 75 questions. I just used Uworld. I got a goog pop up. Do you think I Passed too? Did you do the PvT?
