Renewing of Visa Screen

Hi guys! My Visa screen will going to expire early next year and im here to gather some relavant opinions and smart advise if i will renew my visa screen or just apply for re process once my priority date is near which is 2009. The movement is so slow and honestly im really dishearten. Im just thinking that its just a waste of money if im going to renew my visa screen then will expire again. Please share your thoughts. THanks

    If your priority date is 2009, you will most likely be waiting for another 3 years maybe, i.e. granting that your petitioner won't abandon or back out on you in the end. If you renew your VS before it expires, it will be valid for 5 years anyway ;)

    It is really up to you if you want to go through the process again some time in the future. It's not too much of a hassle anyway. Besides if you renew your VS right before it expires, you will be doing almost the same thing - i.e. submit your new IELTS score and validation of your local RN license - except for the school documents and validation of your NCLEX. :)

    I think its much of a hassle if you go through it all over again. It would be easy and cheaper just to renew it. Hoping that in that span of 5 years your PD will come. What I did since you've got a year to meet the renewal requirements is I submitted all my documents on the 11th month. In that way I was to somewhat extend the expiry to a total of nearly 6 years. Because the date of 5 year expiry will depend on when you fulfil all the requirements... Good luck...
