Relocation to UK

I'm reading through all the threads about the impossibility of getting a nursing job in the UK. Should I even bother to apply? What specialties are they looking for? I do PRN work in the OR, other than that Uro/Gyn and Orthopedic med/surg, plus agency work with respiratory pts. That's about it for me.

I would even be able to move until 2010... so maybe I should start spplying now? any suggestions?

Hi, I know everyone here must think I'm a complete idiot, because of all the posts that repeat themselves, stressing that i can't get a job and it wont happen, even though I have been tactful enough to mention that I'm not qualified at this point to start the application process, so how about if I asked this. If anyone can offer what nursing is like in the Uk, I would like to know.

If that is what your question is now, please start a separate thread for that and you can place it under the UK forum since it has nothing to do with licensure and/or immigration.

We ask that threads stick to the subject that was being asked in the opening post so that others may follow better and it makes it easier on everyone.

Since your questions on this thread have been aswered, will close this thread.

Best of luck to you.
