Relocating to Fort Worth

Hi all,

I am relocating to Fort Worth and would like information about hospital jobs and salaries. I am a peds nurse with 4 years of experience. Any info is greatly appreciated!

The major hospitals in the area are Baylor All Saints, Harris Methodist, Huguley Memorial, Plaza Medical Center, John Peter Smith, and Cooks Childrens. With 4 years of pediatric experience, an RN can fetch between $25 and $30 per hour.

If you are interested in school nursing, I think FWISD is still hiring. The $$ is less, but great schedule and hours and many nurses hold a PRN job to bring up their bottom line. Otherwise, I hear great things from friends who work at Cook's.

It depends where u live. You can search directions to the hospital from your place and see if it work out for you. A lot of people say it's really a nice place.
