Relocating to Chareston

U.S.A. South Carolina

I'm going to be relocating to charleston and was wondering if anyone had any information of the best hospitals in the area and average salary. I'm particularly interested in Roper hospital. I'm a telemetry/step down nurse for over 2 years in a heart center in new york. I'm trying to get an idea of how much of a pay cut I'll need to take... Any information would be greatly appreciated!!

I dont know what the experienced pay is. But I know that new grad pay at Roper/St Francis is $22.50. I have had clinical at both hospitals and the employess seem to be happy for the most part. But at Roper they seem to be happy with their working conditions, but not parking. Parking is crazy right now because they are doing some construction in the area. Some employees are car pooling or using CARTA, the bus system here. If im not mistaken, its either free or really cheap because the hospital covers part of the costs. The number to the recuiter is 843-724-2170 for Roper.

The reason I keep saying Roper/StFrancis is because they are part of the same system. Good luck.
