REGISTERING AGAIN.

I didn't get my official "fail mail" yet...but after doing the pearson vue trick, it asked for my card, and I paid 2 days after I took my NCLEX.

question is, i called pearson asking why I haven't received my ATT yet....is it because i need to wait for my official results to fully register for a date??? I'm really anxious...

I can't believe I failed, guys. I really can't. Everyone passed, asides from me....ANyone want to give me tips and tricks? i'm studying off of saunders and exam cram......can anyone help me with how to study (step by step advice?) i'm seriously a mess...

OK every state is different. I called Washington board or nursing and they told me I wont get an ATT this time. They will just contact pearsonvue after the completion of 45 days (which is the usual waiting time after you fail) and pearsonvue will let me schedule the exam again. Hope this helps.

When did you give NCLEX? I mean how long has it been?

Pearsonvue will not release ATT until told to by the state BON

I took it on the 24th. I'm from California. I'm sure they're not that much of a difference. I called Pearsonvue and they told me that they didn't have any information on why the ATT hasn't gotten to me...I'm sure the guy new I failed but didnt want to tell me in person...So, how will you know pearsonvue will allow registering again? I'm so frustrated!

I'm sorry, are you taking it again as well? If so, how are you studying better than you did before? I love this forum. It's so helpful. thank yoU!

Hv u tried lacharity or kaplan?

No I have not. I dont have the funds to pay for outside tutoring =(

I'm in the same boat as you. I did the PVT and got the bad pop up & cried myself in a little ball for about 2 weeks. Then, I got myself together & re-registered. For Florida, I had to submit a re-exam application to the BON & re-register with Pearson Vue too. Pearson Vue won't send out the ATT until the BON has reviewed my application and says I'm all clear. Then, once your 45 days is up...You can pick your NCLEX day online. Hope this helps GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

According to info I read elsewhere, CA is having major problems which is slowing their already slow process.

Thats what I was hoping you know that I would get ATT before the completion of 45 days and would be able to schedule a date that falls after 4 days, but based on my phone conversation with BON, they wait till 45 days then only contact pearsonvue. After 45 days, and after your BON contacts pearsonvue, they will probably email you. I know frustrating!!

And to asnwer how am I studying better than before...after I failed the first time, I just sat down and asked myself why the heck did I fail. I realized that for me the core problem was not knowing the content enough. So I have been doing content review for Kaplan. They say that do not memorize, but really how are we suppose to retain all the information without memorizing it? Even if you try to understand the content, you got to nail those signs and symptoms and all those crazy stuffs. Anyways, thats what I am doing, I am doing content review along with Q-bank and trainers and Lacharity. On my first attempt, I mostly did 200-300 questions per day and no it didnt work for me.

What about you? How different is your approach this time? All the best!!! Know that we are one step closer if anything from passing NCLEX!!

God Bless.

THanks for that! I love how I can still get the support without having to tell my fellow classmates. Well, im studying off the saunders book and exam cram book taking it one system a day....so today, i'm doing Renal...i'm reading it off of saunders and reading the summary in the exam cram...i'm testing off the questions on both books (probably 30 questions in total) and doing the questions on that system from the Saunders CD.

I had the same mistake as you...I too didn't know my content enough and on my 1st attempt, i studied by doing 205 questions on comprehensive stuff....bad idea. but i thought it was right, at the time.

i know we can do this! WE GOT THIS! Prayer and hard work always work hand in hand. Keep me updated! :D

I know how you feel i'm in the same boat. I took mine last Friday, i had 265 questions and a ton of SATA, infection control, a bunch of med calc and priority. I did the Kaplan, i think i'm goin to geet my money back and do Ready to Pass, or Davis.
