hello, new to the chat, does anyone recommend a refresher course online for inactive RN license?

A lot of times your state board of nursing will list refresher programs on its website. You might try there.

depends on how long you've been inactive.
if it's a yr, no.
3 yrs, maybe.
5 yrs and up, yes.
as eric said, check out your state board of nsg for refresher courses.
best of luck.

Most refresher programs that I know of require actual physical attendance in the clinical setting. It is the clinical skills that usually need to be refreshed, not the book work. And this is for most states if you are wishing to do it to restore a license to active, especially if you have been away from patient care for a significant amount of time.
I would check specifics with your state BON. They have different requirements.
