When The President Of A Travel Company Calls You And States "your Recruiter Is No Longer With Us, But We Will Assign You A New Recruiter As Soon As Possible, And We Will Do Anything For You That You Need, Just Let Us Know." That Was Last Week And Have Not Heard From A New Recruiter Yet..i Am 6 Weeks Out From This Contract..still Getting Paid...should I Start Looking To Another Company?? I Do Not Like Badgering Anyone..should I Call And Ask If I Am Getting A New Recruiter..or Just Let These Guys Go..?

definately call and find out what the h--l is going on! i have had recruiters move on to "other duties", but i usually found out from the recruiter that took over for them when they called me. never heard from the president of a company about a recruiter being let go. good luck!!

If you are satisfied with the performance of the company otherwise, call and ask to be connected with the person who supervises the recruiters and ask them who your new recruiter is. It may simply be that you are "lost in the shuffle" if the recruiter had many nurses to be placed with others, especially if the recruiter's departure was sudden. If there are other issues with the company then this may be a sign of internal problems and you might want to explore other options.

How odd... the same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago, yet instead oh we will do our best for you, it has been more like sorry we have nothing, don't count on us, things are "dry" right now... even if I have/had been with that recrutier for over 19 years ( yes, 19 years). So I've been off contract since August 13th, and having to go back and sign up with another agency is the worst with worried about paying living expenses.Even signing for per diem with a local agency requires all the paperwork reference checks etc., so its difficult to get started fast.I got some excellant advice from another traveler... have everything with a couple agencies, so that you can pick what you want with better choices. That is what I am doing researching new agencies and I think that being signed up with more than just one will be better for me.Good luck, at least you have a few weeks yet on this contract, and can take the time you need to pcik soemthing that is perfect for you.Reigen
