any recommendations on a good stethoscope?

Hey lpn students!!! I figured you guys would be most helpful with this question, I just got my 1st nursing job and I'm having the hardest time taking manual blood pressures, please tell me I'm not the only one, I have one of the cheap ones from my school. Any suggestions on a good one? I know it's hard on older ppl to take no because their pulses are weak ...

I use the littman SE lightweight for clinicals now. It's light, & costs around 45$ Good luck.

I love Littmans my parents got me one as a graduation present a lot of people use and love that brand

I actually prefer an ultrascope. I recent bought an mdf and I'm impressed with that as well. Littmann...I think they are overrated.

I use a Master Cardiology from Littmann. They are expensive, around $230, but it's worth it to me because I have terrible hearing. I had a uniform shop that carries a few brands and a lot if different models so I just tried them out and that one worked best.

^^^ my mother has a cardiology stethoscope by Littman and I've used it a few times and love it.

Yep. I have the Littman Lightweight SE model, too. It's a good one and I paid less than $50 when ordering online through Amazon.com
