Recent NCLEX in CA...

I didn't take mine after the 24th (I took it the 4th of Feb.) but I just wanted to let you know that it took 12 days for me to get my results while others in my class were finding out in three days. I also stopped at 75 and passed. The wait was excruciating! Hang in there, I'm sure you passed! :)

Shaggie, thanks so much for your response...the suspense was killing me so I called the BRN and she said they are in the process of filing my fingerprints which I did with the hard copy...she said after that (3-4weeks) everything will be completed and it should go up or I should get my license. What a relief that it wasn't me but it was a mistake with the board. Thank god...I just hope I pass for sure!!

I took the NCLEX at Feb 28 in Pasadena, the comput. stopped also at 75 (my heart, my body and my soul frozen at that minute as well), found out that about 80% of my questions were pirority, which sucks! I am sure the very first one, which is drug calculation and the last one, which is eye drop adminstration, of which I should have them correctly answered. However, the questions in between...sucks! Is it a good sign or what...my god...I dont want to hear... I feel just like living in the limbo right now...waiting endlessly...wait...eat...and sleep...like a pig waiting to be...

oswonghk...the brn here is so much different than where I came from last...after a week I actually called them to see if there was a holdup for some reason...turns out my fingerprints haven't been filed and it could be another 3-4weeks. the board cannot tell you if you passed or not (they do have the results) but the person I spoke to was very reassuring :) . call them and see if there is some reason your file isn't complete. it sounds just like my test pretty much...and with 70% on kaplan you should be fine, i only got 68 on the last 265test on the trainer.

Tell me the number that you called, of which I might have chance to talk to an assuring lady! Do you mean the board tone phone number, which is always busy, always keeps people waiting, always gives people annoying instructions ,like press one, two...indefinitely...why don't they have an easy button that people can press to pass the exam...I just need the license and nothing more at the moment!

I just called the board's number and if you press #2 ...2times...it will either be busy or it will put you on hold for a good 10minutes or more. If it's busy just keep calling back, once you are through you just have to be patient and wait. Most likely there is a hold up with your record.(transcripts fingerprints etc.) Good luck and keep me filled in!!

No there is nothing, isn't that horrible....the board said it could be 3-4 weeks until they process my fingerprints and post. I think it is a big joke that it takes that long especially when they were sent in early January and here we are in March...it will be until April probably until I get any results. When I do I'll post for sure!!!

I called the board today but turned out the one who answered my call was not so reassuring, just kept repeating "what your social security # is...and I cannot tell you this and that (the result she means, of course I know)...you will recieve your result in 2-4 weeks... Completely cracked me down...>00
