Hey everyone I was hoping someone could clear something up for me regarding the point system. I'm trying to calculate my points. In the " Grade point average in relevant

course work" section... is the gpa calculated for the 6 general ed courses only or does it include the 6 plus the psy 9 and math 35 grades as well?

That's a good question. I would assume it includes the Psych 9 class too, because it says if you have a Bachelors it counts your Psych class, but it doesn't say anything about Math 35.

i took the TEAS with RCC - not too horrible, not too great! i already forgot what i got but i remember the level it placed me at was 'advanced'. and i remember thinking i could have done better had i had time to study. but oh well! can't do anything about it now but wait!

do you need anthropology OR sociology or do you need both?

It says on the website you need one or the other, but I think you can use them both to fulfill another requirement.

Yes you can take either one. Say you take sociology and get a B or C, then you can take anthropology 2 and get an A and they will take the A over the B or C since it's in the same category. Does that make sense? If you ever have a chance to go to one of the informational meetings, they are very helpful. Hope that helps..

Anybody hear anything about then sending out decisions anytime soon?

NO!!! this is killing me. I can't believe we won't hear anything til late July early august. That doesn't give us much time to get everything done like background checks, vaccinations, CPR certification before the fall semester starts.

If anyone hears anything be sure to let the rest of us know lol

That's what I was thinking too! That's not a lot of time to get ready. Someone should call the office and ask if they know when they will be sent out.
