Quitting before summer's end?

Hi all-Hope you all are enjoying your summer. I am contemplating applying for a job that was presented through a contact of mine. It could be substantially more money. (In my world at least)...We haven't signed contracts yet, due to issues with the state..but how horrible is it if I would leave? I do love my fellow nurses, and my director but the money is tight. It could be a huge relief for my family to have the money. I have no cue if I would actually get the job, but I do have a friend there. Anyway I just thought I would gather your thoughts....

    You've got to do what's right for you - but i'm not sure that i'd quit one job before the other is nailed down.
