Quick results : Pass

Hello! I took the NCLEX-RN 2 days ago. I just checked online (PearsonVue) about my quick result and it says I "passed" the examination. Is it safe to say that I indeed passed the test? Hehe I still can't believe it. Am I an RN now? 😂😁😅

You passed the test. You are not an RN until your BON gives you a license number.

That's what I thought too. Thank you!

Yes! Quick results are official, you passed the test! Congratulations!!

The BON is your state will most likely issue you a license soon. Some BONs are faster than others, mine only took a day after the quick results. They all seem to take ages to get the license in the mail, but start checking their website on Monday for your lic number. Once you have that, you can start applying for jobs. if they BON has an issue with your background check or something, it could take a little longer, but I think most BONs figure that sort of thing out before they allow you to test.

Thank you! I live in Texas and I'm sure it will take time because I have to enroll for a refresher course first, before they release my License. I am a Foreign educated Nurse and it's been 3 years since my Graduation Date. Once again, Thank you!

Ummm-if you passed NCLEX, why do you need a refresher course? On what?

Several States (maybe it's all of them now?) do not recognize a BSN from the Phillipines as the equivalent of a complete nursing degree in the US. It's not so much a "refresher" as "completion" courses. I *think* that included a course in med-surg, not sure what else.
