265 questions

So I took the NCLEX. I felt pretty good about it. Everyone in my class has passed, and I've been studying for months. I took my time and really felt positive going in. So I get to 75 click on next and 76 pops up... Damn... So I tell myself, it's okay it will shut off soon, then 100...101...by the time I get to 150 I'm thinking that I just might make it to 265. I wasn't really terrified of passing or not at this point, but at around 200, I started to get blurry eyed, and not sure what they were asking. My brain decided to shut down at 200. Well I KNOW that it is possible that I passed, and I really am trying my hardest to believe in myself that I did. But I have been looking all over this site to see if ONE person passed getting to 265...if your out there PLEASE tell me it's possible. In the mean time I'll just wait for the website to have an RN next to my name.

don't think about it as of this moment.. your just wasting your time wonderin' if you passed or failed - instead, hang out and have fun with your family and friends..

anyways, if the state you've applied for has quickresults - waiting will take about 2 to 3 working days only! :)

sit back.. relax.. and enjoy your day!!!

I know a few people who passed with 265, so dont worry!!!

Good luck!

I had 265 questions on yesterday. I was wondering when the computer will turn off. After each question I tried to answer the best of my ability because I didn't know when the computer would turn off. I stopped and prayed and gave it my all those last burst of questions. It was many questions I didn't know, stuff I've never heard of before and I guessed on those. I had alot of choose all that apply. I just have faith in God that I passed. I have been remaining prayerful and I do believe that God has fought this battle for me. I have been through so much and passing this test would really be a blessing for me. I trust God and I know the rest is left up to him. So just try to relax, God has the final verdict. Good Luck to everyone who's waiting on results or who haven't taken the exam yet.

PS- Just always remember God is with u!!!:saint:

Try to relax:tbsk:

A good majority of my friends who had all 265Qs had passed! I unfortunately had all the questions, and was unsuccessful, but I didn't feel good about the test after, I had a feeling I was unsuccessful.....I had heard that if your last questions is of higher level (prioritizng, delegation, or SATA), then you are above the passing standard and consider that you passed. Also, it doesn't even matter if you get that last question right, just as long as your above that passing standard. Good luck and I hope your have great results :)

My last question was not a higher level question, neither delegation, prioritizing or SATA so what does that mean? Do u think that means I failed? My last few questions weren't so bad.

Waiting is the worst part! But I'm sure you did well. Try to relax (I know it's easier said than done), I'm sending positive thoughts your way....good luck with the results! Make sure to keep us posted =)

Hi EarlGrey - I failed the first time with 262 but passed with 265 the second time around so it possible. Its just a number 75 or 265 and has no real bearing on whether you passed or not. You can check with your BON to see if you passed but you have to wait a whole 24 hrs to do that.

Best of luck, Maverickemt, RN
