Hi everyone, Im also a foreign graduate (Philippines) , I graduated 2009 and took the local board exam, and unluckily I didn't pass the board in the Philippines. ok.. here is my problem, I already submitted my cases form to PRC Philippine Local Board Exam when i took the exam there since, thats one of their requirements also, and didnt had any copy of those. So my problem is, since im planning to apply on taking the NCLEX here in Ca. Idk what to tell them about my cases, in case they ask for that(FYI im scared because im pretty sure they'll ask for it) Or idk if its a valid reason for me to tell them that I already submitted the cases to that local exam, idk if they're still gonna ask for that which ever. Idk if they're gonna allow me to take the NCLEX since i can't show them my cases no more since i didnt have copy of it ... PLEASE anybody? can help in this matter? thankyou in advance i would really appreciate it! God bless . here is my e-mail [email protected]

I think you have a problem, pass the local board then re apply.
If i pass the local exam aren't they still gOnna ask for my cases then?

They will more than likely ask for dates as it should be part of transcripts. Plus they are aware of all the other applications so will probably expect yours to be the same
Thankyou silverdragon, Im just hoping that im not gonna start all over again working on that cases, go back to PH and see all of my ci's let them sign my cases.

what you can do is ask your school for the copy of your PRC cases. most likely they still have it but the thing is, you'll need to find your own stuff from the whole boxes of PRC cases. if it has been long gone, you'll need to give your school ur old RLE book.
Hi anne, can i ask you what school you graduated from? Hopefully, im really praying that they still have a copy of it.

Kimmy, you do know that even if you provide the CA BON with passed exam results from PH, there's a pretty good chance that they will probably denied the application due to either the concurrency problem or lack of clinical hours or deficient in a course that's affecting all of us PH grads.
Do you have any recent friends or know of anyone that graduated from your same school and same year that actually got their ATT after the Sept. 2010 deadline? If they got denied, then there's your answer, but if they were able to take the NCLEX in CA, you might have a chance too.
Or if any of those people known to you have actually gotten their CA license? Just a thought.
Hmm.. Thanks for the response steppybay, :) yeah, this is the sad part for me most of my friends we're from NY, Baltimore, Maryland, all of them didn't asked to submit their cases or so whatever.. One of them adviced me to just apply in NY then do the reciprocity but I heard that if I do that, either way CA BON will still ask for my cases. So its still messed up.
Yes, Kimmy, that's correct. If there's a good chance that someone's application will not meet the CA BON requirements, it's just a waste of time and money to try to go thru the reciprocity route by getting licensed in any other state to get back into CA.
Someone here said their friend even worked for two year's as a RN in FL and still got denied into CA due to the concurrency problem and if not that, there's a few other things that could deny the application.
Bad news, sad news. Yea, it's really depressing.
I know right, hmm.. Byt we can't blaim them their just doing they're job. By the way e-mail me or add me to you yahoo messnger in case you have one. Thankyou, and hve a nice day!
