Number of questions you get totally relies on how you are answering the questions and when the computer determines that you meet the standard required

The number of questions is determined by how well you are doing on the questions. Each question is given a difficulty score and the first question will be at the passing level. For each quesion you get right the difficulty increases. For each question you get wrong the difficulty decreases. You will continue to recieve questions (a minimum of 75 and a maximum of 265) until the computer can statistically say that you passed or failed the exam. It is possible to only get 75 questions and still fail the exam. :typing
However, some testers are chosen at random to receive 265 questions regardless of how they are doing on the exam. This is to test the validity of the questions that are being used.
That is not true, people are not picked at random to get all the 265 questions

75 is the minimum number for the RN exam, and it is 85 for the PN exam.
I was informed by one of the proctors at the testing center that some are randomly chosen. If this is not true then the wrong information was given at the testing center.
Number 16 states that people are not selected for max number of questions all goes on your answer
