Hi miss mika - I'm not yet in nursing classes, still finishing pre-reqs, but I've done a lot of research on the profession. This website has been very valuable in supplying me with information. To become an anesthetist nurse you have to go to a 4 year college, get you BSN and then you have to be accepted into a program for anesthetist nursing.
For more specific information, you may try posting this message under the specialty area for anesthetist nursing.
Good luck to you!
Thank you so much I was wondering when someone would reply because I am really interested in this field but I did not want to go back to a 4 year college I thought I could go to a technical school and skip the English, etc. Luckily I am still young and in good standing with my previous college I guess I'll just go back there! Once again Thank You!!!

You need your BSN and usually some experience in ICU critical care before you are eligible for anurse anesthetist program. When you are done, you have your Masters, like all other ARNP's. Best of luck.
Thank U bets I appreciate it!!!
