Question

Hey guys! Today I took my NCLEX RN ex and I had 233 questions (6hours) can you tell me can I pass with 233 questions?

Did you do the trick to see if you get a good pop up.

I did but it says CURRENTLY ON HOLD.

I think it only counts the last 60 items when you run out of time. I haven't read anything about it, but it might correlate to having the results on hold for further review. Maybe there are others that ran out of time that might have more insight. Best wishes!

Yes, it's possible to run out of time and still pass; if you search this site you will find several threads discussing this. Hukneeb is correct; the last 60 responses will be evaluated. You don't have to have answered all 60 correctly, but all of the last 60 responses have to be above the passing standard.

I just wonder if this correlates with the "on hold" status... perhaps they review it differently, and it takes longer?

Ok. Thank you. I hope that I pass..... but not sure.....

She didn't say she ran out of time. She said she had 233 questions. so yes, you can pass with 233 questions of course. Or you could fail, the number doesn't matter. good luck.

She said (6 hours), which is the maximum amount of time. Maybe I misunderstood, but that's how it sounds to me.

good point. if she did run out of time then there's just no way to guess about it, no one can know if the last 60 questions were all above passing level. good luck OP.
