I know this has been addressed before but I need your educated opinion(s).
I went shopping today and "invested" in a pair of Dansko's. I also tried on a pair of Quark's and loved the way they felt on my feet. I was a little concerned about the light weight and the durability of these shoes. Has anyone worn these and how did they work out.....they felt very comfortable and are MUCH less expensive than the Dansko's.....plus they are available in lots of colors and I LOVE to color coordinate :chuckle
Opinions please......

no opinion on quarks...never tried them. probably won't at this point. i'm hooked on dansko's!! i even wear them when i'm not working. they are more practical for me, b/c when i teach, i wear street clothes, so i can wear them. i wouldn't wear plastic clogs with khaki's or corduroys.
i'm actually bidding on my third pair on e-bay as we speak...so cute, they're clogs with a sandal strap in the back!!
btw, there is a very recent thread on this. do a search

i have a pair of quarks (mine are gray with yellow). i no longer wear them because even though they're very lightweight, by the end of a 12 hour shift my feet were killing me, not to mention they got very sweaty. now i wear a pair of new balance that are really breathable and comfy.

IF quarks are the same as crocs, I like crocs I think they are very confortable and cute, they come in so many different colors.
Quarks aren't the same as Crocs. Crocs have a thicker sole and are softer.

I love my quarks, have been wearing them for about 9 months the only thing i don't like is there isn't any ventalation, no hole so my feet get stinky and sweaty.
