Question about perquisite loads

Published

Hi, decided going to go for nursing. Currently working part time. Hoping to be accepted into a nursing program in my state. Probably going to go the Associate as it is less a strain on the wallet. Only issue is all of the community colleges have a February deadline. That means need to complete TEAS, Chemistry, Anatomy 1 and 2 prior to the February deadline.

I work 2 evenings during the week and 1 weekend a week.

Looking to do Anatomy 1 in four weeks at the community college it is a six hour class four days a week.

Take the TEAS at the end of the summer.

Followed by taking Anatomy 2 and Chemistry in the fall. One class is a Monday and the other is a Friday.

Is that doable or am I looking to set myself up.

It is certainly doable if you are willing to work hard to achieve your goal. If you have any doubts about your ability to handle chem and an AP class at the same time, then you should accept a slower pace to move forward.

the 6 hours a day of Anat sound gruelling but overall yea you can do it. Work will feel like a reward from studying.

Sounds like a lot on your plate. It is manageable if you can study hard on top of work and all.

Some people can work, school and still study and do well despite so many this going on, and some can't. Knowing yourself if you can handle all that is an indicator.

Don't rush the teas test if you truly don't feel ready to take it. The first score is pretty important.
