For those who didnt pass, did you practice at least 1000 practice questions beforehand, reading the rationals, and if so, what book/study aid did you use?

It's not the amount of questions, It's the amount of time you use for each question and rationale. My first try, I tried to the max amount of questions per day about 700, since instructors in school said it was the thing to do. But they were wrong. My instructor in Kaplan suggested that you go over each question, absorb it, analyze it even it was only 25-50 questions a day. Then when it comes to the rationale, review it slowly and absorb it as if you're doing the question once again. READ ALL rationales, even the wrong ones, make notes. You need to absorb as much as you can, not just click away at the numbers. I tried this the second time around, and I passed!

This makes total sense. If you do too many q's you cannot absorb it all at once. I am going to do no more than 100 a day and pray!
Thanks
