question about links to thepoint

Hello,

I have noticed that there are a lot of links to helpful sites here. But a lot of them take me to a web site called The Point. I can't access anything there. It asks for an access code. Where do I get an access code?

Thanks,

Kathy

Could you post the URL address of that site please? Let us investigate this. Thanks.

This looks like registration is optional. You can view much of the content (books) on the site w/o registering.

Hi,

You get the access codes from inside the books. (if you buy a new book, or a used one that does not have the code box scratched) I have registered my anatomy book and 2 of my nursing books (fundamentals and med-surg) they give you online access to the full text (so instead of 3 big @$$ books, i carry one laptop) it also gives you access to videos, quizzes, and skills check offs. If your instructor chooses they can also utililize "the point" as instructor giving the class access to powerpoints and expanded resources. I know some of the helpful nurses on here post links to the old website (I forget what it was called~~~the connection maybe?) it used to be free, but it changed to the point and there is restricted access. HTH.....

Hi,

thanks for replying. I was wondering if that was the case with the codes.

Thanks,

Kathy
