I am attempting to begin WGU in August for my RN-MSN in leadership and management.
I was under the impression that first I work on the BSN classes and then continue on to the MSN classes. Right?
I just got my transcript evaluation and it shows 4 classes that I need to take: health assessment, stats, biochem, and lifespan development.
So do I take these four classes and that's it for the BSN??? Or is there more??
Thanks!!

No, you still need to take the 7 (? may have changed) core BSN nursing courses. Those are just the prereqs that they are requiring you to take.

Hi! I have also signed up, for RN - BSN, with WGU and I believe these are pre-req's to the BSN portion. These must be completed before anything else; however, if I were you I would double check the transcripts to see if any classes taken had not been counted. I had a few classes they did not count, so I found the class description and emailed that to them and they were able to count them then.

Not necessarily. You can still take some of the core nursing courses, even if you haven't completed all the pre-reqs yet. It's up to you and your mentor.

This is correct. The prereqs (just to use that term) can be taken before or after. My first two classes I took were nursing classes and now I am taking a couple of general ed. Your mentor will help you arrange them. Seems most people take either nutrition, health assessment or the gerontology course first (care of the elder adult) no matter what 'pre-reqs' you need.
