Question about clinicals

Hello everyone. I am beginning an LPN program in the fall, and plan to go directly to an RN program once I graduate. I hope to get an LPN job while working towards my RN.

My question is, can I do my clinicals at whatever my current job is to fulfill the requirement for the RN program?

You will have to do your clinicals at the facilities that your school has arrangements with. You go where they tell you to go. You cannot just go to work and have that count. For one thing, working as an LPN is not the same as doing RN program clinicals. Some schools have policies about students doing clinical placements where they are employed.

Short answer: Nope, not even close.
