I have a question. I just sent my application with all my official sealed transcripts to Excelsior College yesterday for their official review. How long does this typically take and will they call or send me written correspondence to tell me what classes are required to complete my nursing degree? How long does this process typically take after they receive the information that I submitted to them?
Can you tell I'm kind of getting excited about getting started? ha-ha
Thanks for any information you can give me.

It is hard to remember exactly, but I think it only took a couple of weeks and they sent me written confirmation of what was applied towards my degree and what I needed to complete.

I found them to be surprisingly fast in returning my evaluation. Within 2-3 weeks, a month at the most. If you are seeking the 2 yr program, rather than BSN, I suggest you go ahead and download the study guide for Nursing Concepts 1 and begin gathering your study resources and studying for this test. You can take NC 1 before you are officially enrolled. Also download a copy of the nursing school catalog from their website, so you have it to refer to while you are enrolled. If you absolutely know there are certain classes you must take for your gen ed and plan to take them at your local comm college, you could go ahead and enroll, or make arrangements to take CLEP exams. Congratulations on enrolling before the big curriculum change which takes effect in Oct 07. You are very fortunate. Good luck.

It took mine about 2 and half weeks. I got the unofficial review today. Not as bad as I thought it would be. Good luck. Dawn
