I hate when people use a nursing profession as a trampoline that can bring them to a greener pasture. Out of curiosity, don't you guys have nursing positions available in Philippines???

This forum is for everyone not just for people from the Philippines.

If you read the Philippine Nursing forum you will see how difficult it is to find and get nursing positions and now much harder to emigrate as more countries are asking for nursing experience as part of the process

Why stop there? Why not just identify which specific migrant community astronauts to greener pastures? When did one nations' plans rely on immigrants only and not on its citizens?

"Racist" is a term used to define people who subscribes to an illogical belief that one culture or color of skin is superior to all other. Racists are notorious in North America and are now experiencing a resurgence especially now that their Emperor Trump has come into power.

From what I have experienced and seen on this thread for the past 5 years. It seems there are a lot of "racists" in this thread who have lurked here for a long time have now come out into the open. You guys should really be concerned more in making sure that the ideals of multiculturalism in Canada will be alive and well rather than making other races feel inferior that their parents or grandparents migrated a generation or two later than yours did.

Whatever people's motivations are to go into nursing, it is not anyone's business as long as you are a competent and safe nurse. A lot of people go into nursing for greener pastures, whether it be a better pay packet or a better life in another country, it shouldn't matter. If you did nursing out of pure passion to care for someone then that is your business and you shouldn't let your personal views or opinions lead to such 'hate'.
