The PVT works! I've noticed that it is not a good indicator of if you failed (even if they took your money so don't lose hope if you get the "bad popup"), but it is a PERFECT indicator of if you passed. So, if you get the "good pop-up" then YOU PASSED!

Not true. Someone had the good pop up for 23 hours then it changed and they failed

Omg. Can we please stop it with this. PVT is a glitch. The only true results are BON or quick results. FFS we are nurses trained in evidence based practice
Every single person and every single account that I read as well as myself and my classmates who have done the trick has shown the the PVT works positively for those who recieve the "good pop-up" Every single time. PVT in 2016 is very accurate. Anything mentioned before 2014 is irrelevant because Pearson Vue has undergone an update.

Welp, I may be the one to prove it wrong.
Took my test yesterday @ 1pm. I, basically, dedicated my life to studying for NCLEX-RN. Did thousands of questions, used numerous resources, I ALWAYS scored above-average on every practice test I did (UWorld, Hurst, Kaplan).
As I was taking it, I felt the questions were easy, but yet I wasn't familiar with the material. I feel like the test never passed the "passing line", as it seemed too content-based, too basic. It shut-off at 75.
I've done the PVT, just for the hell of it. All "positive" pop-ups (I change my expiration date and CVC), yet I am not, by any mean, acquiring any peace from it.
I'll keep everyone updated.

If you got the good pop up, you passed. However be careful of the negative energy you attract. Life and death lies in the power of the tongue. Instead of telling yourself "you may be the one to prove it wrong" why not speak positively about yourself? I would be $100 you passed.
It happened in the last week or so. The person posted here in a panic. Several were charged in recent months to reregister but ultimately passed. Most attempted befire 24hrs The only 100% accurate results are quick results and from the BoN.
it was more "accurate" before 2014.
Post 24 hours - "good" pop-up remains.
YOU PASSED!
I just want to understand why people think there's any relation to the PVT & actual test results?
Does anyone know FOR SURE the Pearson website, somehow, has whether or not you passed in it before the 48 hours? How is there any relation?
And for the message of the good pop-up: I DID recently schedule an exam... why would that indicate I passed?

I was told this glitch was fixed. I took my test this morning and I haven't even attempted it. It's going to kill me but I'll just have to wait for the BON or my quick results to update.

Justbeachynurse is right. I took the nclex 12/30/15 and got the good pop up 4 hours after the exam. Checked it again later that evening and to the next morning and still got the good pop up. The next day in the afternoon, I got a decline cc message. And when I waited for 48 hrs for the quick result, I failed. She is just saying its best to check it after 24 hours for more accurate result. So yes it may change on you before the 24 hours is up because it happened to me. I used a $10 visa gift card. Good luck everyone!
