pvt

Another pvt question....I know I know...Google it or search here. However, I can't seem to find my specific question covered/ answered.

Help out a future nurse....?

my question is- does pvt work as...accurate. ..when a person runs out of time? (It made sound silly to some but it's driving me crazy)

I received the so called good pop up...and been receiving it all day (minutes after exam hours after exam) it hasn't been 24 hrs though. That'll be tomorrow

I just don't want to get my hopes up

Take a Benadryl and get some rest. You'll probably know tomorrow. Waiting is killer

I found someone talking about this online a couple of days ago when I had just finished my exam. Unfortunately, it seems that the Pearson vue trick is most inaccurate when the tester has run out of time. However after about 24 hours your test should have been graded the second time and you should be good to go. Best of luck!!!

ElletB,

:( that just brought my spirit down so low. I pray to God I have passed and the trick is accurate.

Omgosh now I'm freaking out :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Well it is not my intention to bring your spirits down. Simply put, most people that get the good pop up initially and then later get their card declined are those who ran out of time or had all 265 questions. Even then, however, it is still rare to get the good pop up and then bad news later. I wouldn't dwell on it. Just give it 24 hours and hope for the best!!

Yes, I know you didnt.

It's just a very sensitive time.

thank you for responding!

I checked now and it still says the same (our recordindicates. ..). It's been about 16-17 hours since I took it...

I didn't do the "trick" when I took my boards. However, my nursing license appeared on the state website before my results showed up online. Just a little tip. Not sure if that is true in all states or not. This also was several years ago.

R.E.L.A.X. You're working yourself up more by continuing to check. It isn't going to change the outcome or make the results show up any quicker.

Wishing you the best!

Breathe!! As someone else said, you can try other more accurate sources like your state board licensure verification, or quick results if available. I found out yesterday I passed by using the nursys.com website, and it was only 36 hours after my exam. You can verify a license and if your name pops up with an active license you're good!

I know it's difficult, but try not to freak out. There is nothing more you can do right now but wait for the celebration!! Good luck!

Camo-angel,

it hasn't even been 24 hrs yet so I doubt it will be show on that site or Bon.

4 hrs and half left....

Less than 2 hrs till my 24 hrs mark and this "glitch/trick" can mean something....although I would just love it if the quick results come sooner or Bon posts my name today...and not make me wait till Monday
