PVT?

So I took boards yesterday. I was cut off at 85 questions. I keep doing the PVT and it keeps giving me the good pop up. I checked the state website and it doesn't say passed or failed yet but they don't have my transcripts or my legal section marked as completed.

Does the PVT work if that isn't completed? I'm crawling the walls with worry.

Also is it worth it to get the quick results?

PVT is a trick. Has no link to BoN requirements. Quick results will give you peace of mind for $8 to know whether you passed while waiting for the BoN to complete your file and declare you a qualified licensed nurse.

My state takes 4-8 weeks to post licenses. I don't trust system tricks. Paying the $8 was worth while to me so that I would know for certain I passed. If I applied to a state where licenses are posted in a few days I likely would have waited and not used quick results.

My license won't be posted for a while because they're waiting on transcripts and a certified copy of my driving record which I haven't mailed for yet. I just wanna know if I passed. :)

With a few false pass&false fail with the PVT posted in recent months combined with a known delay in licensing, I would pay for quick results to know for certain. But $7.95 is worth peace of mind to me.

I think it's definitely worth it to pay for the quick results. I'm always nuts about exam grades and I'm sure I will be 1000x more nutty when it comes to NCLEX. I just can't trust PVT.

I don't trust the PVT. I haven't taken mine yet, but I know here in CA, it can take up to a month to get official notification. I didn't know there was something like Quick results, but I need to look into that so I can let my future employer know if I passed! What is that?

ETA: Gah, CA is not on the list of states that does this. No wonder I hadn't heard of it! :)
