Providence TIP Jan 2023 Program

Hi everyone! I saw on Providence's website that applications for their new grad SoCalTIP Jan 2023 program will open up on Oct 17th. I've been checking all day yesterday and today, and haven't found the link! Has anyone else had luck applying?

@wmarp yeah, I was interviewed by the following departments ED, StepDown and Telemetry. At the end she said “you did well and should be hearing back in about 7 to 12 days” .

Oh! Lucky. That's the unit I want the ED. I submitted my application to a couple more hospitals, and I will do one more.

Congrats to everyone so far. I applied to L&D at St John’s and tarzana and had interviews at both. I think the St. John’s went better. Are you applying as new grads or experienced nurses trying to get into a new department.

Does anyone know the units they are hiring for at the Torrance location?

@savvyme Congratulations, I’m applying as a new grad. You?

hey! following for updates. did anyone apply for more than 1 location?

@tmht yes, I did more than 1 location.

@MannyO okay thanks! that makes me feel better because I saw in a thread from last year that you could only apply for 1. I also applied for more than one location and interviewed last week for both!

@tmht that good. What location and unit if I may ask!

@MannyO ED was my top choice for both locations. I saw it was yours too so crossing fingers for both of us! I wonder how many new grads they’re hiring for this cohort

@tmht hopefully we get a response this week!

Thank you for starting this!

Interviewed with St. Joe's last Thursday. CC, ED, cardiac tele were my top 3. Hoping we all see "under consideration" change to our preferred unit this week ?
