  1. We are required 3 nursing diagnoses, 1 patho diagram, assessment sheets, and medication sheets with all the drug info.
  2. Honestly, it's rough but it can be done. Many students chose to work a CNA job on the weekends for the bills and do school during the week. It's very difficult but can be done with good time management skills.
  3. My biggest tip for you is to stay on top of it. Do not wait till the last minute to study, study along the way! Also, get used to nursing styled questions. They are different than any other exam you have probably taken. Also, take it seriously. You will be using these skills on real people.
  4. It honestly just depends on the program! Everyone's grading scale is different.
  5. Try not to overthink it and answer honestly. Think about the times you wanted to quit- what kept you going? What makes the patients worth it to you? In the future, when you have a really bad day at work.. what will keep you going? Helping people may be cliche, but it isn't wrong. Many people feel called to nursing for whatever reason and they feel like thats what they are meant to do. Don't overthink an answer, just honestly share your story.
  6. My clinicals have always been assigned to me. We don't get a choice of who or where we go.
  7. You should follow your heart!! Have you shadowed nurses or anything like that? Sometimes people don't realize they have the passion for it until they try it. However, nursing school is hard and if you don't have passion for it- it could make you feel like you are drowning.
