  1. You'll be booboo the fool if you don't leave him!
  2. I keep finding myself going back and fourth im wondering should I become a lpn? I really want to be a nurse but really the waiting lists are ridiculous.... My situation isn't one where I can wait all of that time and go slowly. I am a Certified Medical Assistant right now, please give me some advice already LPNs/VNs..... Was it worth it for you? Do you regret not just becoming a RN 1st? Do you like being a LPN/VN? thank you.
  3. I would have waited another 12 months you could have worked and saved some money up to pay while in school. It's worth waiting you will be in debt forever and you are just starting out! To get a adn at my community college it's 9,000 you are paying 25K for a lpn certificate. #WOW #NEVER
  4. How much is DU for LPN? I Know dorsey is 30,000
  5. Are you paying to fully teach yourself? Doesn't sound like a good program.... Or is that normal?
  6. I make 18 & I am a CMA right now.
  7. I went to my local community college today & the nursing program there is indeed 24 months 52 credits are needed to finish. 4 additional pre reqs are needed to enter a long with your hesi. Program cost is 9,000 that's with everything included.
  8. You are saying we aren't academic advisors is kind of rude... I'm asking a nursing community for advice... that's what these boards are for but thanks!
  9. Awesome! Thanks I keep hearing a lot about wgu acter the fact.. What exactly is that? Thank you again for the great advice I will be talking to my local community college tomorrow.
  10. can you help me with websites for scholarships?
  11. Sounds like you are one of those people who jumped into nursing with no prior medical history? Nursing or the medical field was never meant to be glamorous and why should someone praise you for wanting to help others.. if you are truly in it help others?
  12. I hear great things about the school.... you have to think you may be paying that for your degree but weigh in the positives as well. The school has all of the appropriate accreditations and I see plenty of positive posts and you should gear yourself towards those. As everyone's situation is different, yeah you're paying 90K for a BSN but you will make close to 90K every year entry-level 1st getting in the door you will be making over 5 thousand dollars a month what is 750 out of that for a loan? I think it is worth it imo, you could even go on to become a NP if you choose. and be raking in well over 130,000 a year for 15 more months of study and chamberlain offers that as well. It is a school of nursing that's been around for a very long time. So do your homework and go with what is best for yourself. ? I'm going to check it out.... hopefully you don't waste 3 years of your life on a waiting list and at least get another degree while waiting.... waiting.... and waiting..... whos to say you will ever get picked if you know you can do it just go for it, pray about it and go ahead on.
