CNAs give medications
It depends on your state's regulation really. I work in a private home with people who have dementia & Alzheimer's Disease. They have medications. These medications I give are already in the daily container. I make sure that they take these meds. That's my responsibility and duty. Or a regular visit in the ER.

Need a BSN for what again?
With all of my credit units together, I have earned a Master's Degree. Yes, it was a waste of money. However, I've noticed that I reasoned quite different than those people haven't completed a 60 credit unit in general education. The ADN-RN's general ed isn't that much. FYI, I'm not insulting you. Everyone is capable of learning/improving unless the person has a clinical cognitive function. Let's be honest, the schools want to stay open. We could earn RN's degree without those general educations. I'm sure that the clinical instructors and theories' can teach nurse students in their garage to be an excellent healthcare providers. Yes, I support the idea of getting into a higher education. That's because it helps the nurse professions to be the best providers on Earth. Do you know the history of nurses? Anyway, there are many people deny that they don't need junk classes. I used to protest too. Later in life, I realized how it had changed me. I learned to discover myself. I don't need to be rounded, but everything else.

RN or PA: What is the odd of being accepted?
Thank you for taking an effort to answer my questions. You're all correct. I also researched the difference between RN and PA's roles in healthcare field. I prefer the nursing. For now, I'm waiting patiently working as a caregiver/CNA. If I get chosen either LVN or RN program, I may start Aug/Sept. 2017. I have no idea. My grades in humanities/non-science are making me nuts. I wish, I could turn the clock back to earn an A.. I do have excellent grades in sciences and maths. However, the schools in my radius look for the cumulative GPA.

RN or PA: What is the odd of being accepted?
I completed my prerequisites for the RN program. I don't have a stellar grade but no Cs. However, if I will pursue for the physician assistant program, I still have another shot of earning excellent grades. How hard is it to get in the RN program when compared to the PA program? For your note, I know that I will have to earn a four year college in order to be (maybe) accepted.

Overweight Healthcare Workers
My husband is classified as obese with HTN, prediabetic, and murmur. His insurance is cheap but mine. I have an excellent health. All of my blood work, collected by his insurance or where he works, the result appears to be at optimal level. Everything is perfect in my end. My BMI is 20.8. I don't smoke or drink alcohol. His employer charges me...3x of his insurance. So how this happened?

Overweight RN talked about
Most nurses I know don't find fat nurses funny or I live in a different plane on Earth.
